In our presentation, we share details about the MKT-G instrument we administer to GeT students before and after they take the GeT course offered by instructors in the GeT Support community. So far, the instrument has been taken by 518 students from 31 GeT courses. Among the 518 students, 380 students took both pre- and post-test. With the 380 students, we have found that during the course of one semester, the students’ MKT-G scores increased on average 0.19 standard deviations, which shows that the instrument can identify student learning in the GeT course. The results suggest that there are differences in MKT-G that can be detected on the timescale of a course of studies. In the presentation, we will also discuss our plans for future analysis examining the relationship between students’ career orientation and the gain of MKT-G scores.
